Bernard Bradley, 25, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 17, by members of the department's Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit after receiving intel that he would be at the Lawn Hill Avenue Development near 143 Custer Street and that he was in possession of a gun, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
Officers located Bradley and found he was carrying a fully loaded revolver, Conklin said.
He was arrested without incident. During his arrest, officers found he was also in possession of fraudulently obtained credit cards, Conklin said.
Bradley was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of ammunition, and three counts of identity theft.
He is being held on $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
"This was another great job by the Stamford Police Department Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit, taking another gun off the streets of Stamford," said Conklin.
